Congratulations to all the girls who competed in the 22nd Lincoln City Gymnastics Club Annual Competition on 28 June 2009. For some it was their first ever public gymnastics competition.

The gymnasts were judged by the club’s own British Gymnastics Judges. The venue was the usual club training facility at the St Peter & St Paul’s School, Western Avenue, Lincoln.

In recognition of all the gymnasts’ achievements, certificates were awarded to every gymnast.

In addition, the top three gymnasts in each of the competing groups received a medal, with the overall winning gymnasts also receiving a Trophy.

The Club Championship Trophy was awarded to the highest scoring Level 4 gymnast.

Thanks to all the Coaches, Judges, parents and volunteers who ensured the smooth running of the event.

Thanks also to the Squad gymnasts who performed a superb group display floor routine to show the audience a little of what they do at outdoor displays.

A special thank you to Hodgson Elkington who kindly sponsored the competition medals and trophies.
