It was hard to find a dry day for an outdoor event in 2012, but we almost managed it. Play was suspended for a brief shower after lunch, but on the whole, the weather was kind.

Our junior tennis sessions are now well under way with at least 20 local children turning up every week to enjoy tennis fun sessions.

Fishing, Football, Hockey, Lacrosse, Rugby, Swimming, TennisPop Lacrosse was an exhibition sport for the first time at the Lincolnshire Youth Games. Many children took the opportunity to the “have a go sessions”, and a number of teachers and SDO’s took details of the Junior Sports Programme which was promoted at the event.

The annual village fun tournament was held on a beautiful summer’s day, a total of 12 juniors taking part in the morning singles competition, and twenty four adults taking part in the mixed doubles tournament in the afternoon.
