The Lincolnshire Pop Lacrosse Tournament was held at the Sleaford Sports Associations ground on a beautiful summers day on the 18th May.

Schools travelled from the far reaches of the county to play in the event. All the matches were extremely competitive and skilled, the children all showing how much they enjoyed their new sport only recently introduced to them.

The eventual winners were St Hugh's from Woodall Spa, who now go forward to represent the county at the National Pop lacrosse tournament on the 24th June. Second place ,only on goal difference was Grasby Primary school, and third Parish Church from Gainsborough. All received medals provided by the Junior Sports Programme Trust and participation certificates, the trust also also paying for the facilities hire.

The schools who took part all expressed an interest in local tournaments in each district, and the future growth and participation and of their new sport in their area.
