The Nottinghamshire pop lacrosse tournament was held at Nottingham Trent University in the Lee Westwood Sports Centre on the 5th June.

Schools from the north of the county ,the winners from Bassetlaw qualifying tournament being Worksop Priory, the winning schools from the Districts of Rushcliffe, Newark and Sherwood and Gedling qualifying from their respective tournaments.
The round robin tournament resulted in the following results:
Winners St Peter's C of E Academy from East Bridgford
2nd Worksop Priory
3rd Arnold Mill from Gedling
St Peters Academy now go forward to represent the county at the National Pop Lacrosse tournament on the 24th June. All the children competing enjoyed the extremely competitive event.

It is with many thanks to the Junior Sports Programme Trust Ltd who provided the gold, silver and bronze medals to the the top three schools together with participation certificates to all schools competing.
Refereeing was undertaken by Katie Greenwood( Ladies Lacrosse Coach at Nottingham Trent University )together with James and Mike Aspinall.
It is with sincere thanks to Nottingham Trent university for hosting the event and we are pleased to confirm that they have also agreed to host next year's tournament which will be held on the 4th June 2019, again in the sports halls."
