Nathan has been playing table tennis for 5 years now and is ranked at number 13 in England in the under 15's. He is also ranked at number 40 in juniors - under 18's and at 319 in seniors. It is expected that Nathna's junior and senior ranking positions should change dramatically when the May rankings are issued due to some very good wins at recent tournaments.
The Junior Sports Programme Trust is pleased to be able to offer sponsorship to 14 year old kickboxer, Nesta Baxter. Nesta received a letter a couple of days ago to confirm that she will be fighting for Great Britian in the World Championships in Italy in September. She is also fighting in Italy in June in the Best Fighter tournament.
Tom has represented England at the under 15s level, travelling to various countries. Earlier last year he became the English Schools' Under 13s champion and also took the under 14s national single title and doubles with Luke Savill from Maidstone in Kent.
Ten Metre air pistol shooting has become an accessible and increasingly popular international and Olympic sport. The Junior Sports Programme is therefore pleased to have a chance to get involved.

Chantelle Haywood is 11 years old and competes for Newark Athletics Club. She currently holds the under 11 record for Nottinghmashire and was ranked 4th in the UK last year as an under 11.
Daniel Fleming is a 15 year old discus thrower. At the time of writing, in the 3 seasons he has been competing in so far, he has become county champion twice, eastern champion twice, 4th place in nationals and finished 8th in the UK rankings for 2011. Daniel also broke the county championships record for discus last season.
Beverly (Lee) Cupit is a 16 year old paralympic from Lincolnshire who broke the junior age records last year for both Shot and Discuss. Lee, who suffers from cerebral palsey and hemiplegia, is currently ranked fifth in the World Junior Rankings for Shot Put.
Goalkeeper David Overton is a member of both Leadenham and Lincoln Hockey clubs. He was selected, following trials in Nottingham, for the England under 16’s squad for the home international tournament which was held in Cardiff in July 2007.
Shona McCallin, from Dry Doddington, was selected to play for the England under 16’s team. The team won the home international tournament which took place in Cardiff between the 24th and 27th July 2008.
Sam attended Leicester Football Academy from the age of nine has now been selected to take part in the Catholic School Federation Games representing Great Britain in Hungary this month. The Junior Sports Programme was able to assist towards his costs.
Grantham swimmer Aidan Montgomery has been invited to be a member of the Great Britain team at the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Shanghai.
Danielle Hopcroft, 15, plays for Lincoln Youth Bowling Club and Lincolnshire in competitions held throughout the country. Danielle has also represented the county in the under 18 age group whilst only 14. Her dedication and talent has now been rewarded in being selected to play for the Great Britain Junior squad and Hodgson Elkington were pleased to assist with the purchase of a new bowling ball in order that she make the required progression in the sport.
Emma Sheffield picked a golf club up at the age of 3 and has not looked back since.
The Junior Sports Programme has provided National Schools and Henley rowing kit for Andrew Haigh, a pupil of St Paul’s who was selected in April to row for Great Britain in the VIII at the 2002 Munich Junior International Regatta. Andrew is Captain of Boats for his school. His first main competition in 2003 was the Schools Head of the River which the 1st VIII won by a margin of 11 seconds. Later that month, he travelled to Belgium to compete in the Ghent International Regatta, participating in the Junior Pairs, Junior Fours and the Men’s Open VIII category with a win in the Pairs.
