Basketball
Nine young people from the Grove School Newark gained their Community Sports Leader qualification in basketball and 15 young people from schools in Newark and Lincolnshire passed their England Basketball Level 1 referees award.

Coaching at schools continued throughout the winter months, with regular tournaments being held competing for the Hodgson Elkington Shield. The overall winners were East Bridgford and West Bridgford who have now qualified for the National Championships to be held at The University of Hertfordshire in June.
